For the first time we participated in a sports tournament as a group, thanks to Kasim. Shabbir and I went there to support our team even though it did not help at all, heck we could not even clear the first round. But we had great fun there and the organisation of the tournament by the Dubai jamat was excellent. We played 4 games and the way the team was playing Shabbir and I thought it will better that we book a lane for ourselves and play and so we did. Our scores, however, were no better than theirs. Personally I feel that we did not play to our level. Particularly, "The Rattler" Murtaza, who normally with his raw power gets strike after strike was not playing his usual game. Abbas on the other hand played superbly surpassing all our expectation All in all it was a gr8 tournament we had lots of fun and we shall do it again. Next time we are hoping to give a better performance.
